Good Friday Tenebrae Service

March 29th at 7:30 pm at DUMC

This Tenebrae service recalls through scripture, meditation, and candles the Passion story of the last week of Jesus' earthly life. As the scriptures and meditations are read, and hymns and music offered, there is a diminishing of light brought on by the gradual dimming of sanctuary lights and the extinguishing of candles, until we sit in silent darkness following the Crucifixion reading.
