Adult Handbell Choir

 

     The Tommy Shead Memorial Handbell Choir consists of 14 ringers who use six octaves of handbells and five octaves of handchimes. The choir rings in worship on the 2^nd Sunday each month and for various community events and retirement centers. Rehearsals are every Monday from 7:30 - 9:00pm. Reading music is a plus but is not required. Persons with prior experience in other handbell choirs often find a role as a substitute for ringers who must miss a rehearsal or performance. This is a unique music ministry that requires dedication and a love of music.

Anyone in the congregation who has rung before, or would like to try ringing for the first time, should contact a member of one of the groups or the director.  We would love to hear from you.  The Ensemble and Choir both ring on the second Sunday of the month.  Any questions contact the director, Diana Durbin 215-348-7130.
