MASTERPIECE MINISTRY

As we answer the question of What On Earth Am I Here For?, the callings are adding up.

1) We are called to be loved.
2) We are called to belong.
3) We are called to become.
4) We are called to bless.

For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
Ephesians 2:10

Masterpiece? Most days I glance in the mirror and hope that I don’t look exhausted. It certainly isn’t my first instinct to hop out of bed in the morning, energized by my masterpieceness. (Yes—I made up that word.) Some days, I’m just hoping to not call too much attention to myself.

But we are God’s creation. Why would God create anything less than a masterpiece? This isn’t some 3rd grade school project that was ignored until the last minute. This is you and I … and the artist is God. Of course we are masterpieces. Now we have to hold up our end and, as part of our ministry, be a blessing.

I do a lot of strategic thinking. When I take on a new project, I ask the question, “What would 100% success look like?” Sit back, close your eyes, ignore the distractions, and take a moment to vision—If we all embrace our status as God’s masterpiece and answer the call to be a blessing, what would 100% success look like?

Kinda awesome!

If you need some more motivation, consider this. When we serve others unselfishly, we create joy in our lives, our relationships improve, and our lives are more meaningful.

Cue the music and let Masterpiece Ministry begin.

YOU WERE CALLED TO BE A BLESSING!
WHERE? HOW? TO WHOM?

It’s never too late to start or join a small group -
so answer the call today!
